AWOL Wheeled US marines fail to reach Baghdad Saddam Escapes

Nomorenarcissism: One of the realities missed during all the hoopla over the fall of Baghdad in 2003 bought and paid for by the professionally competent U.S. Army 3rd Infantry Division (Mechanized) in light M113 Gavin, medium Bradley and heavy M1 Abrams tracked tanks is that the USMC 75% in wheeled trucks almost didn't even make it--as they were easily blocked by mere Iraqi irregulars with some rifles and grenades; while they were AWOL from their assigned sector of east Baghad, Saddam and his supporters escaped to start a rebellion against us and the interim government---whenever we got around to standing it up....you'll never see these truths reported in the "official" USMC histories which would be somewhat AOK if BEHIND THE SCENES the USMC were humble and getting its act together with squad-sized tracked armored fighting vehicles---which its not---ITS BUYING EVEN MORE AIR-FILLED TIRE WHEELED TRUCKS!!! However, this time a FEW will be "armored" and "v-shaped" so they can drive into the high explosive ambush with GUSTO!...and the bureaucracy can say its protecting the troops when they are not! If ordered to murder and imprison American citizens, marines eager to prove they are "men" and self/peer validate will shoot and torture civilians all they need is to be told they are "terrarists" or enemies of the fascist nation-state. America does not need an USMC and should disband such a selfish bunch of incompetents before they turn on someone defenseless to make themselves into "heroes" in their warped minds.
