Ibn `Abidin (r) relates in his al Durr al mukhtar that Imam Abu Hanifa (r) said: 'If it were not for two years, I would have perished.' Ibn `Abidin comments: For two years Imam Abu Hanifa (r)accompanied Sayyidina Imam Ja`far al-Sadiq (r)the Great Grandson of Prophet Muhammad (saw) and a Great Sufi Imam Abu Hanifa (r) acquired the spiritual knowledge from Sayyidina Imam Ja`far al-Sadiq (r) that made Imam Abu Hanifa (r) a gnostic in the Way of Tasawwuf or Sufism All Great Islamic Scholars Praise Tasawwuf (Sufism) the likes of Imam Ja`far al-Sadiq (r), Imam Abu Hanifa (r), Imam Ghazali(r) ,Imam Shafi (r) , , Imam Hambal (r), Imam Malik (r) etc etc even the Salafi Giants like Ibn Qayyim Al- Jawzi and Ibn Tamyyia have written a great deal of literature IN Praise of Tasawwuf (Sufism). One of the putative authorities of "Salafis" is Ibn Qayyim al-Jawziyya, yet when Ibn Qayyim states something which contravenes what "Salafis" claim, they are at a loss that their own authority refutes them. Ibn Qayyim said in Madarij al-salikin (2:307): Religion consists entirely of good character (al-dinu kulluhu khuluq). Whoever surpasses you in good character surpasses you in religion, and the same is true of Tasawwuf ( Sufism) Imam Bukhari (R) quotes this Hadith from Abdullah ibn Umar (Radiallhu Anhu) that the Holy Prophet (Sallal Laahu Alaihi Wasallam) once prayed for Syria (Shaam) and Yemen. It is narrated that there were some people of Najd also present in the gathering and they requested the Prophet (Sallal Laahu Alaihi Wasallam) to make du'a for Najd also. The Holy Prophet (Sallal Laahu Alaihi Wasallam) continued saying: "O! Allah, Shower Blessings on Shaam and Yemen," The people of Najd again requested the Prophet (Sallal Laahu Alaihi Wasallam) to offer prayers for Najd. The Prophet (Sallal Laahu Alaihi Wasallam) said: "It ( Najd) is a place of tremor and Fitna (Mischief) and the horn of Shaitaan will rise from there." ( Sahi Bukhari , Vol. ii, PP. 1050) It can be deduced from the above Hadith that Najd ( Riyadh ) is neither blessed nor a good place but one of Fitna and Evil. Najd has been deprived of the prayers of the Holy Prophet (Sallal Laahu Alaihi Wasallam) and therefore Najd has the seal of misery and misfortune and hoping for any good from there is going against the Will of Allah. NOTE: NAJAD IS THE EASTERN PART OF ARABIA , PRESENTLY CALLED AS RIYADH THE CAPITAL OF HYPOCRITES WAHHABIS AND SALAFIS ,THE BIRTHPLACE OF THE GREAT DEVILS AND FITNAH IBN ABDUL WAHHAB AND THE PRESENT WAHHABI SALAFI SAUD DYNASTY Sahl b. Hunaif reported Allah's Apostle Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam (may peace be upon him) as saying: There would arise from the east( Najd) a people with shaven heads. Sahi Muslim (Book #005, Hadith #2338) Prophet(Sallal Laahu Alaihi Wasallam) said "Nearing Qiyamah there will be a Group of people who will recite the Holy Quran but it will not go below their throats. They will leave the true Religion of Islam as fast as an arrow leaves the bow. They will be recognized by the shavings of their entire head and they will move in Groups and their last Group will emerge with Dajjal, when you meet them you will discover their nature and character, the worst of its kind." (Mishkat Shareef pp/309 - Prints may vary and pages may be different in other publications) IMPORTANT NOTE : Muhammad Ibn Abdul Wahhab had demanded NOT ONLY MEN BUT ALSO ALL WOMEN WHO ENTERED HIS WAHHABI AQEEDA THAT THEY SHOULD ALL SHAVE THEIR HEADS NOTE: NAJAD IS THE EASTERN PART OF ARABIA , PRESENTLY CALLED AS RIYADH THE CAPITAL OF HYPOCRITES WAHHABIS AND SALAFIS ,THE BIRTHPLACE OF THE GREAT DEVILS AND FITNAH IBN ABDUL WAHHAB AND THE PRESENT WAHHABI SALAFI SAUD DYNASTY The Modern day Salafi Wahhbi Najadi in truth do not follow anybody not even the Salaf , all they follow is their own fancy version of Islam , they are nothing but modern day Khawarij rebels against Islam calling slogan we don't follow any particular Sunni Imam or Sunni pious person or saint we follow ONLY what we feel is RIGHT in Islam , ECHOING the cry of their forefathers Khawarij rebels who are also from Najd .
