o ic, well mine should do low 15s with a cold air and exhaust and my 50 shot of nitrous then
RollermanDan (January 8th, 2009 @ 4:05 pm)
There weren't really any modifications done to it. Stock everything pretty much.

at the time that this video was made.

Hey...you got a 14.69 I would be happy....in the future many parts in our engines will be made of plastic or carbon fiber mixtures....the stuff not strong enough to survive mishaps like yours, but if there was no backfire it would be fine, and running low 14's...guess we have to wait for progress.....but great video...keep the faith....

#1 suggestion go with a 6061 billet aluminum intake :p its lighter then a cast type but has the same strength due to it being billet

Then or now?
nitrouscobalt (January 6th, 2009 @ 8:12 pm)
what other motor modifications do you have?

When 1 dollar equals ten, buddy.
bikercc (January 4th, 2009 @ 3:09 pm)
thats true because of the increase of oxygene

Time for the aftermarket to make a METAL replacement manifold for the crappy plastic one, these plastic parts are made to save money and weight but if your going to race anything with plastic on the engine you need to replace any plastic crap and make your engine bullet proof. I THUOGHT GM WAS DONE USING PLASTIC PIECES ON VITAL ENGINE PARTS! Lame... anything to save a manufacturing buck!

power + plastic = crack same thing happened on my 98 Mustang GT. i wasn't using nitrous though. just a heavy foot. when will the automakers learn that plastic is a bad choice for an intake manifold?
